a few thoughts about this mess of an EP --

this is what it sounds like to be 13 years old and using Garageband at 3 in the morning in your best friend's basement. this is just a look at my past in music, not to be taken seriously.

many thanks to Spencer McKee for the drums on Don't Panic, which was recorded on an iPhone 4 sitting on a filing cabinet a few feet away from the drum set and guitar we were playing. this was our first time ever playing the song.

this also shows two versions of the track 'July' which was written that night, and which appears in another form on the OK EP, and will appear in another form as the first track on my upcoming album.

don't take any of this seriously, I'm just publishing this here as a historic account of my music recording career -- love you all
